According to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), unless action is taken, CO2 emissions from the shipping industry could rise from 4% to 17% of global emissions by 2050. To challenge this, KaapKargo’s sailing cargo ships offer a sustainable alternative to traditional container ships, with a focus on reducing carbon emissions and pollution through wind propulsion technology. OUR STORY     KaapKargo was founded in 2022 to make the maritime industry more sustainable.     By using the power of wind the transport becomes more sustainable and adventures.      We have the ambition to establish a fleet of sailing cargo vessels. Each ship makes two crossings per year, creating a reliable and logistical scheduled service.     Combining our skills of shipbuilding and enterpeneurship with a commitment to the ships and the sea’s.     But more important is the social impact that KaapKargo wants to have.
